Who knew that a visit to the family home would lead to my discovery of the 100 Sexiest Soap Hunks of All Time? Yesterday, as I was discussing the addictive Fox series “24” with my parents and younger brother, it occurred to me that I might miss this week’s episode due to a CD launch party I am to attend.

As I searched the TV Guide to confirm the program’s airtime, I discovered an article about the hot male bods of daytime television. Not only did it make reference to an on-line listing of the “100 Sexiest Soap Hunks” (of all time) but to an entire website, Soap Hunks, dedicated to these sexy suds studs. And while TV Guide did share the identity of THE Sexiest (Don Diamont, Brad of Y&R), I was ever so curious to see who the other 99 contenders were. Not trusting my hit and miss memory, I instantly wrote down the website’s address for a later-in-the-day investigation.

Arriving home last night, I uncorked a bottle of Merlot and fired up my laptop. In no time at all, my laptop wasn’t the only thing turned on. Before exploring the Top 100, I discovered that there were originally 360 qualifiers, with 13 judges (of both sexes and orientations) awarding points for Face, Body, Sex Appeal, and Years in Daytime.

As to be expected, I am not in agreement with the ranking of some of the studs on the list (some were rated too highly, others not highly enough) but at the same time, there are very few on the list who I wouldn’t welcome into my bed with open legs—er, I mean arms.

In alphabetical order, here’s my personal list of the 15 Sexiest Soap Hunks of All Time; I’ve placed their ranking from the Official Soap Hunks Top 100 List in brackets.

I’m always on the look out for hot sites and despite the lack of complete nudity, Soap Hunks still offers plenty of shirtless sizzle. There’s a whole lot of grade A beef here to be enjoyed. But don’t take my word for it. Check it out for yourself and compile your own Top (or Bottoms) 15 wish list.
