A Site For Your Eyes
I’m not even entirely certain how I stumbled upon the gay site, After Elton, but I am ever so glad that I did. Wait, now I remember. For whatever (horny) reason, I had loaded 007 stud Daniel Craig into the trusty Google engine and that’s what eventually lead me to After Elton. Sometimes it doesn’t matter how you get to a place just so as long as you do; this would be one of those instances.
I’m a sucker for an attractive man—aren’t we all?—and when there are potentially 100 of them for me to look at and fantasize about, then bring it on! After Elton has created what I believe to be its first ever Hot 100 List and the list hits its target more often than not, I’m happy to report.
The Top 5 looks like this:
- Jake Gyllenhaal (Brokeback Mountain)
- Chris Evans (Fantastic Four)
- Daniel Craig (Casino Royale)
- Gale Harold (Queer As Folk – U.S. version)
- Taye Diggs (Rent)
See what I mean? A nice start to a fascinating and yummy list; although I was a little surprised to find Gale Harold still riding high on a chart like this since Queer As Folk ended back in 2005. Even more surprising was that three of his cast mates also appear on this list at #14, #34 and #86. (To see which actors I’m referring to, you’ll have to check out After Elton for yourself.)
What’s really refreshing about this Hot 100 List is how the usual suspects (George Clooney or Johnny Depp for example) prominently featured on many other “hot” lists appear at After Elton’s list but in the lower ranks of it. Instead, we’ve got legitimate and often overlooked hotties like Christian Bale (#11), Christopher Meloni (#13) and my latest object of lust (see Sir Randy’s July 24 blog entry), Patrick Wilson (#15) ranking highly on the chart.
So if you’re in the mood for some delicious G-rated eye candy of the celebrity kind, After Elton’s Hot 100 List may be able to take care of that particular craving. You may be surprised by who you find on the list but mostly you’ll be delighted. And maybe even aroused.
Cheers!
S.R.
